Grey Power Thames Association Incorporated is a member of the nation-wide Grey Power Federation. This has over 70,000 members spread throughout the country.
Grey Power Thames is not just another social club. It exists to advance, support and protect the welfare and wellbeing of older New Zealanders both directly and alongside other organisations with similar objectives.
Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of every other month in Thames. These start at 2pm with a guest speaker followed by afternoon tea at which members have the opportunity to meet and chat with each other, after which administrative and general business matters are discussed.
